Driving Home the Call for Education for All

Friends and supporters joined NetAid in Georgia last week to tell leaders at the G8 Summit that the international community must do more to put the world's children into school. An increase of $5.6 billion per year, roughly what the U.S. alone spends in Iraq each month, is what's needed to help achieve this. Currently the international community spends only $1.2 billion annually on basic education.

In the run up to next year's G8 Summit in the UK, NetAid and its partners will continue their efforts to bring political attention to the need to ensure education for all children. We hope that you'll keep informed of the latest NetAid activities and campaigns to help achieve Education for All.

All the best,

David Morrison, President
